WHAT IS A C.U.L.T.? AM I IN ONE?
Not A Cult Festival is the manifestation of our community's love for each other and for the world. We are one and we are many. We are united, but we are not all the same. We are composed of many tribes, some strange, some merely... different.
We believe that a group should not be discriminated against because of the strangeness of their belief, the rituals they observe, or the way they dress - however unusual, unsettling or downright bizarre they may be. And so we have become a haven for communities of all kinds, so-called “weirdos” who don't fit into regular society.
We invite all such communities to join us for the celebration, so long as they observe these values:
1) Unity (This is a place of peace, cooperation and celebration. At Not A Cult, all are friends – even if you would normally feed them to the Dark One in real life. NO HUMAN SACRIFICE ALLOWED)
2) Love (be kind. Be open. DON'T BE A DICK.)
3)Truth (Live your truth – however weird it is. SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT!)

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
1) REPRESENT! Let your freak flag fly
We want you to show off everything that is special, weird and different about yourselves. Dress to make an impression, let people know what you are about, make a scene. This is your chance to really get weird. Or be weirdly normal, if that's your thing – but come with an idea of how you're going to make an impression amongst all these weirdos.
2) GET INVOLVED – Join the fun
We have more ways than ever for our C.U.L.T.s to join the fun – the Great Games, the Awards, and the battle to see who will win the coveted title of most popular cult – IT COULD BE YOU! Our dedicated team of amateurs are on hand to help make this as easy and fun as possible, so jump on in.
3) RECRUIT – time to recruit some new acolytes!
This is where your C.U.L.T. can recruit some new members, initiates, acolytes, or minions. It's up to you what that looks like, but you should look to bring people round to your way of thinking. How will you win them over – is it your fashionable uniforms, your great ideas, your loose morals, or hypnotism? How will you entice and initiate the noobs, and/or get them to do your bidding? It's up to you!
