IMPORTANT FAQ’s about tHE festival!

NEW FOR 2025: CAR LEVY

Each year, we try to encourage more people to get the coach down. The vast majority of the event’s carbon emissions are from transport, and we can significantly reduce this by encouraging use of the coach and ride-sharing.

As such we are charging cars with two or fewer occupants £10 at the gate. Artists and zero emissions vehicles are excluded. 100% of this money will be used to subsidise coach tickets. Payment by card only.

NEW FOR 2025: THE BREEZY SPOON

After lots of feedback, we’re running the food ourselves this year! Whether you want a hot dog and chips, or daal and a quinoa salad, we’ve got you covered. We don’t think festivalgoers really want £18 ostrich burgers, you want something healthy and/or stodgy to keep you dancing. Almost all of our meals are £5 or less, and the menu is 90% vegetarian/vegan.

To reduce single use packaging on site, we are running a BRING YOUR OWN BOWL setup - if you don’t have one, we’ll be happy to sell you a decent one at a reasonable price that’s yours to keep forever.

Leave the tins of beans at home! We’ll be open 4-9pm on Friday and 9am-9pm on Saturday/Sunday.

TICKETS

We don’t send out physical tickets - just provide your name at the gate! If you’ve bought a resold ticket, just give the name of the person who bought it originally.

GATE TIMES

FRIDAY 10:00 – 00:00
SATURDAY 10:00 – 17:00

If you arrive outside these hours, there’ll be a phone number at the gate.

WHAT TO BRING

  • All your usual festival camping stuff, all the fancy dress, your best vibes!

  • Water bottle or reusable cup for the free chai, to decant alcohol into on site, to keep hydrated and reduce single use packaging.

  • Yoga mat (if you’re taking part in the yoga…)

  • A towel for a shower.

SITE RULES

Not A Cult Festival is proud to be based at Out To Grass, and we expect all of our attendees to respect both the general rules and the green policies of the site, who are making conscious efforts to reduce their environmental impact.

  • NO GLASS. Please feel free to bring your own booze, but decant your liquids etc. into alternative containers.

  • NO GLITTER. Haven't you seen the news? Regular glitter is a damaging and non-recyclable microplastic. If your festival enjoyment depends on being sparkly, please only bring biodegradable glitter.

  • NO DOGS. We have a number of dogs who live on site, and a music festival isn’t an ideal place to introduce new ones to the mix. Please leave your four-legged friend at home.

  • PICK UP YOUR LITTER. A tidy campsite is a happy campsite — this includes cig ends! Please separate your rubbish into recyclable and non-recyclable waste.

  • NO UNELEVATED CAMPFIRES. All BBQs must be held off the ground. Firepits are available to hire from the site for a fully refundable £20 deposit.

  • SOUNDSYSTEMS OFF AT 2AM. Silent disco will be on and you can potter around, relax by the fire, and recruit new cult members, get into a jam but we can't be blasting bass past 2am so please respect the licence.

  • RESPECT QUIET CAMPING. Not A Cult Festival will be a safe environment for all kinds of people, including some who might want to sleep sometimes. If you're a night owl, please camp away from the quiet areas and be mindful of your neighbours.

  • DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL INTO THE ARENA AREA. You're welcome to drink your own booze in the camping area, but please don't take this into the licensed arena area. There will be a fully stocked bar selling a selection of good, cheap local beers and cider.
